Workshop Titled “AI Utilization in Education” Held at the Faculty of Nursing – Capital University
As part of the Faculty of Nursing – Capital University’s commitment to supporting digital transformation and advancing both the educational process and scientific research, the Faculty’s Information Technology Unit organized a workshop titled “AI Utilization in Education.” The workshop aimed to introduce the latest applications of artificial intelligence and explore their potential integration within higher education.
The workshop was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Afaf Salah Abdelmohsen, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zeinab Hussein Ali, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The event was organized by the Faculty’s Information Technology Unit, headed by Dr. Manal Salah Abdelhalim, Director of the Unit.
The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Manara Hamza Fathy, Professor at the Faculty of Nursing – Capital University. During the session, she presented a range of the latest artificial intelligence tools and applications used to enhance teaching methodologies, support practical training, and improve the overall quality of education. The workshop also included practical demonstrations illustrating how these technologies can be effectively utilized in academic settings.
The workshop witnessed remarkable engagement and strong attendance. Participants expressed their appreciation for the high scientific quality of the lecture and the interactive presentation style, which was characterized by clarity and organization. The practical applications demonstrated during the workshop also attracted significant interest, as they provided real-world examples of how artificial intelligence tools can be integrated into teaching and scientific research.
The workshop also featured distinguished participation from several Egyptian and Arab universities, including Saxony Egypt University, King Salman International University, October 6 University, Fayoum University, Cairo University, Tanta University, Beni-Suef University, Al-Azhar University, The British University in Egypt (BUE), and the Middle East University, creating valuable opportunities for exchanging experiences and discussing ways to benefit from artificial intelligence technologies in advancing higher education.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants emphasized the importance of continuing to organize such scientific events, which contribute to fostering a culture of innovation and digital transformation within educational institutions, while supporting the development of the educational process and enhancing academic and research performance.
