Research Competition organized by the National Council for Women (NCW)

As part of the Faculty of Nursing at Al Assema University's commitment to encouraging student participation in research activities and raising awareness of important societal issues, the Faculty invites its students to participate in the Research Competition organized by the National Council for Women (NCW) in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund in Egypt (UNFPA Egypt) for the second consecutive year, under the theme:

"Technology-Facilitated Violence Against Women"

The competition aims to engage university students in developing innovative research and practical solutions to address the growing issue of technology-facilitated violence against women.

Competition Objectives:

• Raise awareness of technology-facilitated violence against women and its social and psychological impacts.
• Contribute to the development of policies and programs aimed at reducing digital violence.
• Propose effective strategies to protect individuals and communities from the effects of online violence.
• Promote the principle of gender equality and support the efforts of university Anti-Violence Units in creating a safe and inclusive academic environment that contributes to sustainable development.

The second phase of the competition includes students from the following ten universities:

• Helwan University
• Cairo University
• Egyptian E-Learning University
• Beni-Suef University
• Beni-Suef Technological University
• Beni-Suef National University
• Borg El Arab University
• Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST)
• Luxor University
• Taiba Technological University
