🎓 Introductory Seminar at Capital University on Scholarships and Study Programs in the Field of Arts Offered by the Fulbright Commission in Egypt

As part of Capital University’s strategy to promote academic internationalization and support research excellence, the University’s International Relations Office is organizing an introductory seminar entitled: “Scholarships and Study Programs in the Field of Arts Offered by the Fulbright Commission for Study in the United States.” The seminar will highlight scholarship opportunities, academic exchange programs, and international collaboration in artistic fields, opening new horizons for creatives and researchers to engage in global educational and artistic environments.

The seminar is held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Capital University, and Prof. Dr. Emad Abu El-Dahab, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and is hosted by the Faculty of Fine Arts under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Yasser El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, and organized by Prof. Dr. Omnia Yehia, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

In this context, Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Kandil emphasized the University’s commitment to openness to global educational systems, particularly in creative disciplines, and to enhancing opportunities for academic exchange in the arts. This contributes to preparing graduates capable of competing in international creative markets and keeping pace with global developments in art and design.

Prof. Dr. Emad Abu El-Dahab also highlighted the importance of supporting researchers and creatives in artistic fields and maximizing the benefits of international scholarship opportunities, contributing to the development of artistic and applied research, fostering innovation, and enhancing the University's academic and creative output.

This seminar aligns with the vision of the Graduate Studies and Research sector to empower faculty members, researchers, and students to access international education opportunities, participate in cultural exchange programs, and build sustainable academic and artistic partnerships with global institutions.

The seminar is organized through the Graduate Studies sector, represented by the International Relations Office, and includes a comprehensive presentation of Fulbright programs in the field of arts. These include scholarships for Master’s and PhD degrees, programs for researchers and faculty members, cultural and artistic exchange opportunities, as well as postdoctoral programs, with clarification of application procedures, admission requirements, and evaluation criteria.

The seminar is held under the supervision of Dr. Israa Yasser Dawood, Director of the International Relations Office, as part of the Office’s efforts to enhance the University's international presence and provide an interactive platform that supports creatives and researchers in exploring global collaboration opportunities and building internationally oriented academic and professional pathways.

The seminar targets faculty members, teaching assistants, researchers, postgraduate students, final-year undergraduate students, and all those interested in the arts and international study opportunities.
