Graduation Project Discussions for the Bachelor of Nursing Program (Bridging Program)

As part of its ongoing commitment to academic excellence, scientific research, and the preparation of highly qualified nursing professionals capable of meeting the evolving demands of the healthcare sector, the Faculty of Nursing – Capital University, under the leadership of Prof. Afaf Salah Abdelmohsen, Acting Dean of the Faculty, successfully held the graduation project discussions for students of the Bachelor of Nursing (Bridging Program).

The discussions were conducted under the supervision of Prof. Manar Fathy Hamza, Director of the Bridging Program, in an academic atmosphere characterized by professionalism, constructive dialogue, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise.

The Examination Committee included:

• Prof. Manar Fathy Hamza – Director of the Bachelor of Nursing (Bridging Program).
• Associate Professor Eman Hassan – Director of the Intensive Program.
• Associate Professor Sabah Nagah – Associate Professor, Department of Adult Health Nursing.
• Dr. Eman Atef – Lecturer, Department of Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing.

The committee evaluated three distinguished graduation projects addressing important contemporary healthcare and community issues:

🔹 Project One
"Mothers' Awareness and Preventive Practices to Protect Their Children from Cyberbullying"

Supervised by Associate Professor Asmaa Awad, Department of Pediatric Nursing.

The project aimed to assess mothers' awareness and preventive practices in protecting children from the risks of cyberbullying while promoting the safe use of technology and social media.

🔹 Project Two
"Assessment of Nurses' Knowledge and Practices Regarding the Carbon Footprint in Healthcare Settings"

Supervised by Dr. Manal Salah Abdelhalim, Department of Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing.

The project aimed to evaluate nurses' knowledge and practices related to the carbon footprint and to examine the implementation of sustainable environmental practices in healthcare facilities, contributing to environmental sustainability, reducing carbon emissions, and enhancing the quality of healthcare services.

🔹 Project Three
"Assessment of Dietary Habits Among Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease Undergoing Hemodialysis"

Supervised by Dr. Abeer Ashraf, Department of Adult Health Nursing.

The project aimed to evaluate the dietary habits of patients with chronic kidney disease receiving regular hemodialysis and assess their adherence to recommended nutritional guidelines in order to improve health outcomes and reduce disease-related complications.

The Examination Committee commended the outstanding academic quality of the projects and praised the students' dedication under the guidance of their faculty supervisors. The committee emphasized that the projects demonstrated the students' ability to apply scientific research methodologies to real-world healthcare and community challenges.

The committee also expressed its appreciation for the professionalism of the presentations and the students' ability to confidently present their findings, engage in scientific discussion, and respond effectively to the committee's questions, earning the admiration of all attendees.

At the conclusion of the discussions, the Faculty of Nursing – Capital University extends its heartfelt congratulations to the students of the Bachelor of Nursing (Bridging Program) on this remarkable achievement and wishes them continued success and excellence in their academic and professional careers.
