Faculty of Nursing, Capital University, Organizes a Webinar”
As part of Capital University’s commitment to supporting digital transformation and advancing the education and research system, the Faculty of Nursing – through its Information Technology Unit – organized a scientific webinar on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, titled:
“JoVE New Approaches to Nursing Education”
The event was held online via Zoom at 8:30 PM under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zeinab Hussein Ali, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Afaf Salah Abdel-Mohsen, Acting Dean of the Faculty. The webinar saw distinguished participation from faculty members, teaching assistants, and postgraduate students.
The webinar was presented by Dr. Amani Mohamed Ali, Academic Solutions Consultant at JoVE and Lecturer in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy – Cairo University. She highlighted how to effectively utilize the platform to enhance nursing education through visualized experiments, contributing to improving students’ practical understanding and increasing the efficiency of the educational process.
The webinar also addressed ways to integrate JoVE content into lectures and clinical training, as well as its role in supporting researchers and postgraduate students in conducting scientific studies according to the latest academic standards.
The event witnessed active participation from faculty members and postgraduate students from several Egyptian universities, including Cairo University, Al-Azhar University, and 6 October University, reflecting the growing interest in adopting modern educational tools and expanding their use at the academic level.
Dr. Manal Salah Abd EL Halim, Director of the Information Technology Unit at the Faculty of Nursing, emphasized the Unit’s dedication to organizing specialized scientific events that support digital transformation and enhance the quality of the educational and research process, in line with the university’s strategy for developing higher education.
The webinar concluded with an extensive discussion session addressing participants’ questions, emphasizing the importance of continuing such initiatives to elevate academic and research standards.
