🌿 Awareness Campaign Titled "Prevention Strategies and Management of Fever and Febrile Seizures in Children" 🌿

As part of the community role of the Faculty of Nursing, and under the patronage of:

Prof. Dr. Zainab Hussein Ali – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs

The Department of Pediatric Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Capital University, organized an awareness campaign titled "Prevention Strategies and Management of Fever and Febrile Seizures in Children", on Tuesday, 7/4/2026, at the outpatient clinics of Al-Zahraa Hospital.

The campaign aimed to raise parents’ awareness regarding the prevention of fever and febrile seizures in children, and how to properly manage them if they occur. It also provided health education on safe first-aid measures, appropriate methods for reducing fever, and guidance on when to seek medical care.

✨ The campaign was supervised by:
Prof. Dr. Ezza Abd El-Samie – Head of the Pediatric Nursing Department
Lect. Fatma Ahmed – Campaign Coordinator

The campaign witnessed significant attendance and interaction from visitors at the outpatient clinics, where direct health education was provided and parents’ inquiries were addressed, contributing to enhancing community health awareness.
