Higher Education: Applications Open for Latvian Government Scholarships for the 2026/2027 Academic Year
As part of supporting international academic cooperation and providing educational opportunities for students and researchers, the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector has announced the opening of applications for the Latvian Government Scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year. Provided by the State Education Development Agency (VIAA) of Latvia, these scholarships are designated for international students, faculty members, and academic staff.
The scholarships include opportunities to study at Latvian universities, as well as summer school programs organized by universities there. Please note that these are partial scholarships and do not cover travel expenses or insurance.
